Currently the library has the created database of 35,000 records of its collection. The users can browse database by author, title and key-words at intranet and internet.
Book Circulation is the main service provided by this library to its members, i. e. the students, teachers of the University Campus and Staff of TU, Central Office, Kirtipur. In addition private and temporary members may also take advantage of this service.

The library has been providing a reference service to the teachers and students of the various central departments of Tribhuvan University and to outside research scholars and other visitors.
The library has been providing user education services for new students of Masters Degree of University Campus. By which they will how to search and retrieve documents of their interest.
The periodical section has been providing a press clipping service to researchers and students. The relevant articles found on any of the following subjects in the newspaper in Nepal are collected and make available to users.

TUCL has been providing current content service of Journals to teachers, students and research scholars to all the Central Department of TU since last several years.
TUCL distributes ISBN (International Standard Book Number to authors and publishers on its capacity as the National ISBN Agency since January 2000. More then 8,500 Nepali Publications have been provided ISBN.
The library has been providing a Photocopy service to the users at subsidized rate.
