Tribhuvan University Central Library is located in the University campusat Kirtipur, a town on the South Western perimeter of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The total land area 38,200 sq ft. is occupied by the library building. Inside the library, there is ample study area with seating capacity for more than 600 persons. A separate study room containing 50 carrels is also available for the faculty members and research scholars. The space allocation of the ground floor and first floor of the existing building is given bellow:
