Acquisition of Materials

Acquisition involves acquiring of library materials keeping in view of the requirements of the curriculum of the Masters' Degree programmes of Central Departments of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur and according to the need of the teachers, students and research scholars.

Every year, besides purchase, the library also receives books as gifts and these donations in the form of books amounts more than fifty percent of books acquired during a year. Usually the donors are national and international persons as well as institutions. The donation has helped the library to a great extent in terms of collection building and sustaining the library for meeting the ever-growing demands of the ever-growing members of the library.
